Shiptonthorpe Open Gardens Weekend
Eight village gardens are open between 11am - 5pm and the entrance fee is £7. The grade 1 church will also be open for visitors to admire and reflect. The village hall will be open for light refreshments between 11.30am - 4.30pm plus toilets. There will be car parking at the village hall and at the playing fields and tickets can be purchased at both locations and from Brookside located on York Road. The village is located between York and Hull on the A1079 and is circular - approximately one mile. This is the church’s major fund raising event so please come along and enjoy walking around the lovely gardens.
