Marton cum Grafton Open Gardens & Summer Festival

The much-loved Marton cum Grafton Open Gardens and Festival returns on Sunday 21st June 2026, offering visitors a vibrant summer day out celebrating gardens, community, and village life.

Explore over 15 private gardens across this picturesque North Yorkshire village, each bursting with colour and character. Visitors can enjoy a relaxed self-guided walk or make use of the courtesy bus service running throughout the day.

This year’s event introduces exciting new family-friendly attractions, including a farm animal area and a large inflatable slide, adding even more entertainment for younger visitors and families. Alongside the gardens, the event will feature a wide range of attractions, including:

• Church floral displays
• Local art exhibition
• Vintage and supercar showcase
• Traditional village fête with small animals and games

Food and drink will be available throughout the day, including hearty lunches, BBQ sausages, homemade cakes, WI teas, ice creams, and a Pimm’s and Airstream bar.

Tickets can now be booked online in advance at a reduced price of £6, with on-the-day admission £7.50 for adults and free entry for children under 16, making it excellent value for a full day out. All proceeds from the event will support valuable local community projects, helping to sustain and enhance village life.

A much-loved fixture in the local calendar, the event offers the perfect blend of beautiful gardens, family fun, and traditional English summer atmosphere. www.mcgopengardens.co.uk/
