Giant paddling pools, tonnes of golden sand, deck chairs, ice cream and seaside shows will bring all the fun of the beach to Staffordshire as temperatures set to soar.
From Saturday 18th July to Tuesday 1st September the National Forest Adventure Farm in Tatenhill, Burton, will be unleashing the biggest beach themed vibes yet for Farmarama.
Soak up the sun and create sandcastles on the soft sandy beach, which has doubled in size this year with over 400 tonnes of golden sand and relaxing deckchairs, enjoy the toe tapping seaside shows, foam parties and craft activities or cool off in five giant paddling pools.
Part of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings families can also benefit from an additional £2.50 off normal ticket prices and receive a free return ticket to the park during the summer holidays.
Tom Robinson, who runs the National Forest Adventure Farm with brother Ivor, said it was the ideal opportunity to take advantage of the summer heat wave and enjoy a family staycation here in the Midlands. He said: “Being outside has so many health benefits for children with the sea, sand and laughter of seaside holidays creating cherished memories for families. Burton is about as far away from the seaside as you can get in the UK, so with all this warm weather we wanted to help families enjoy the thrills and enjoyment of being at the beach without the long car journey to get there.”
Over 400 tonnes of soft golden sand have been shipped into surround the gigantic paddling pools with plenty of space to build sandcastles or relax on one of the traditional deck chairs.
Foam parties and regular party shows, games and seaside shows will take place on the main stage with traditional sheep races, fairground teacup ride and sustainable craft activities around the site.
