Fermanagh Orienteers Summer Series
A series of 8 urban orienteering events on Tuesday evenings in July and August in Enniskillen. You will receive an A4 map of the town with thirty control locations marked on the map with a circle. Your aim is to visit as many of these locations as you can (or want) in the 60 minute time limit. Maps are available at the starting point from 6pm, you have 30 minutes planning time followed by a mass start at 6.30pm. Use your map to navigate successfully to collect as many points as possible. Run, jog or walk, go solo, as a duo or in a team. Run up to 10km (if you are fit for it!) or as far as you can in 60 minutes. Newcomers can meet with club members to discuss routes and good map techniques. If you enjoy exercise, the outdoors and love a challenge, this is for you.
