Saturday 29th August | 11.00am – 3.00pm
Immerse yourself in a day of creativity as we take inspiration from Claude Monet's iconic Water Lilies to create a beautiful impressionistic felted artwork. Using soft merino wool, lustrous silk fibres and a creative approach to fibre placement, you'll learn how to capture the movement of water, delicate reflections and the gentle transitions of colour that made Monet's work so captivating.
Rather than copying a painting, you'll interpret its colours, textures and atmosphere in wool, discovering how fibres can be layered and blended to create depth, light and expressive surface texture. Whether your finished piece becomes a framed landscape, wall hanging or simply a celebration of colour, it will be completely unique.
This is a wonderfully mindful workshop, allowing plenty of time to slow down, experiment with colour and enjoy the process of creating with natural fibres.
