Tudors and Textiles
Heritage Open Day: At this quirky art centre in Rugby town, textile artist and tudor re-enactor Tamsen Flack, is joined by friends in tudor dress. They will prepare Tudor food and (Friday), demonstrate textile crafts (Saturday), entertain with tudor music (Sunday). In 2025 we enjoyed the company of Tamsen Flack in her tudor costume for an evening sharing knowledge and answering questions. In 2026 we are delighted that she is playing a lead role in our Heritage Open Day weekends at the Alex.
The tudor activities will be over three days with demonstrations on each day, emphasis on food on Friday, textiles on Saturday and music on Sunday (incuding perfomance by Coranto).
