After the initial basic miniature railway track, a dual gauge track was built, complete with steaming bay, engine shed and station in 1972. A larger gauge track and station was opened in 1990.
The clubhouse was enlarged in 2008 and a workshop built in 2012. A new engine shed has been built and various ongoing improvements made.
