'Drainspotting' - Sheffield's Victorian pavement features

Heritage Open Day: A look at the history under our feet. Discover the social heritage that we walk over every day. The 2022 Heritage Open Days Recurring Festival Favourite award winner returns! A walk around Endcliffe and Ranmoor looking at the remnants of Victorian infrastructure found on the street. Drain covers, tramway remains, early utility companies and power suppliers all left a mark that can still be found today. The walk will start and finish outside Next Chapter Books on Rustlings Road.
