St George the Martyr Church, Brentwood

Heritage Open Day: Brentwood's only Art Deco Church - resigned by the Brentwood born and educated Laurence King OBE. It retains Art Deco features- and the West Wall was added 20 years ago - and is sympathetic to the Art Deco style. There is an Outside pulpit. It has Faith Craft Stations of the Cross ( Laurence King was linked with Faith Craft). The Church is 80 years old this year. There is also a Brentwood in Bloom prize winning garden
