Brindley's Mill

Heritage Open Day: Brindley's Mill is a working water-powered corn mill dating back to 1752, located on the River Churnet in Leek. It is attributed to the great canal engineer James Brindley, who lived in Leek at the time. It fell into dereliction, but has been restored to full working order. Guided tours are on offer, or visitors can look around on their own. On Sunday 14th there will also be live folk music in the riverside garden, and refreshments.
Sat 13 Sep:1400-1700 (last admission 1630). Sun 14 Sep:1400-1700 (last admission 1630). Free Entry. For more information and last-minute updates, please visit the Heritage Open Days website
