'The Language of Flowers' an exhibition of original botanical paintings
'The Language of Flowers' is the latest exhibition of work by the Northamptonshire Botanical Artists' Society (NBAS). Each painting has a secret meaning taken from Victorian Floriography dictionaries. In Victorian times meanings were attached to flowers thereby enabling coded messages to be sent in floral arrangements.
The NBAS is a thriving group of local artists drawn together by their love of plants and painting. This is the third exhibition that the group has held at
