Roxy Cinema Ulverston LA12 7AH Bay Short Film Festival Brings Award-Winning Cinema to Ulverston and Barrow-in-Furness This June 22 exceptional short films from The Bay International Film Festival's acclaimed 2024 programme tour around Morecambe Bay 21 June 2025 The Bay International Film Festival is delighted to announce the return of its sister event Bay Short Film Festival, taking place across two venues this June. Following the success of the November 2024 festival in Morecambe, a carefully curated selection of 22 outstanding short films will tour around the stunning Morecambe Bay area. The weekend celebration kicks off on Saturday 21 June at 1:00 PM at Roxy Cinema, Ulverston, featuring eight distinctive films. Audiences will experience everything from dark comedies set in rain-soaked Manchester to mythical tales from Iceland, including the stop-motion musical animation about a female aviation pioneer.
