The area around Huddersfield has a proud heritage of handbell ringing, with many of the top teams in the late 19th and early 20th century coming from the area. One of these teams was based in Shelley, and El's Bells (a new local team who meet just down the road in Skelmanthorpe) are proud to bring the art home for Heritage week.
