Explore the Local Nature Reserve alone or ask for a guide Visit website The entrance to Haslam Park from Blackpool Rd takes you through wrought iron gates onto an avenue of Lime trees. The avenue has a drinking fountain and at the far end gated stone steps. These are some of the original features designed by the architect Thomas Mawson for the park's construction in 1910.
