Originally constructed in the mid-19th century as a Baptist chapel with seating for 325, this tucked away building features distinctive black panels designed to resemble windows. Over time, two wings were added, enhancing its architectural character. In 1972, recognising its historical significance, the building was designated as a Grade II listed structure.
