Heritage Open Day: Steeped in history, myth and legend don’t miss this rare opportunity to visit a grade 1 listed building for free, usually closed to the public! Grade I–listed building dates back to the 14th century, with 16th-century additions and early 20th-century restorations. For two days only, Lancashire County Council’s Outdoor Education Service will throw open its doors, offering you a unique glimpse into its storied past. Take a self-guided tour to discover insights on this fascinating house. Homemade baked goods and hot drinks will be available to purchase during opening hours.
