Celebration of International Day of Peace at the MK Rose

Campbell Park, Campbell Park, Milton Keynes MK9 3FT Heritage Open Day: A guided tour around the MK Rose pillars relating to peace to hear the stories behind them, together with a celebration of peace, ‘Flower of the Soul’ by Ukraine Appeal and the Sunflower School. Sunday 21 September is International Day of Peace, and the Milton Keynes Rose contains a number of pillar inscriptions relating to peace – Armistice Day, Holocaust Memorial Day. Albert French Day, etc. Visitors will be invited to visit these pillars and hear the stories behind them. The event will also include a celebration of unity, hope and peace ‘Flower of the Soul’ by Ukraine Appeal and the Sunflower School.
