Stirchley Institute was built in 1892 as a Friends Meeting House and community resource for Stirchley. It has had many uses over the years, being Stirchley Community Church since 1974. See local history exhibitions & a 2nd hand book sale. Explore the building now known as Stirchley Community Church. It has been at the centre of Stirchley since being built by Richard & George Cadbury in 1892 as a Friends Meeting House & community resource for the people of Stirchley. To many local people it is better known as Stirchley Institute where young people met and formed relationships which often led to marriage.
