Admission free - voluntary donations Chingford Parish Church, The Green, Chingford, London E4 7EN A candlelit performance of Benjamin Britten's short, atmospheric Christmas Cantata A Ceremony of Carols, lasting just under 30 minutes. Sung by the Chingford Singers with Rachel Bartels, harp. Although this is not actually a church service, it does evoke a spiritual preparation through music for the season of Advent and Christmas, beginning and ending with the choir processing from a distance outside whilst chanting plainsong.
