From the Elan Valley Visitor Centre we head for the Caban Coch Reservoir and follow its eastern shore passing the 'Dambuster' dam. An ascent takes us to Ty,n y Pant and to fine views of the lake. Descending into woodland, we follow the track past Llanerch Cawr to the Do y Mynach dam.
