CONCERT 27 January 2018: BRAHMS’ A GERMAN REQUIEM
Cockermouth Harmonic Society will perform Brahms’ A German Requiem on 27 January 2018, in Christ Church, Cockermouth. The concert will start at 7.30pm.
North Wales Opera Studio presents, under the instruction of professional soprano Anne Williams-King, an evening of magnificent music. This will include arias, duets and semi-staged scenes from some of the great composers, including Verdi, Puccini, Mozart and Bizet.
North Wales Opera Studio presents an evening of some of the most moving and spiritual sacred music. The music will include excerpts from Handel’s Messiah, works by Mendelssohn, Bach, Mozart, Verdi as well as other classics from the canon.
Make your own ’tile’ and recreate the tile patterns from the arts and crafts movement using foam board for simple press prints. Led by local print maker Karen Lester, this event is ideal for the whole family to join in. Booking Not Needed.
