Kilver Court Gardens in Somerset is the perfect day out for those looking to explore a little known treasure. Today, the gardens, which have appeared on BBC Gardeners’ World, are like stepping into another world - a peaceful oasis away from modernity.
’Cabinet of Curiosities’, which runs from 1st-8th September, is an interactive exhibition of work created by students with learning disabilities from South Petherton. A special ‘Curator-Led Tour’ has been arranged for Thursday 6th September, 10.30-11.30am.

This a traditional Flower Show and Fete with all profits going to local and national charities.
The Flower show invites entries for various home grown vegetable and flower categories as well as a childrens, photographic, craft and home made cakes & preserves competitions.

This year’s line up of vehicles and bikes is bigger and better than ever with a wide variety of very special classic cars, military vehicles, motorbikes and motorcycles. The Show covers the years from the 1920s to the present day.
Annual Dog Show
The Annual Dog Show will take place on August Bank Holiday Monday, 27th August 2018, on Stoney Hills Field, Sans Lane, Donhead St Andrew SP7 9LL at 3.30 pm as part of the St Andrew’s Fete. There are ten classes for dogs to enter.
Traditional Village Summer Fete
A day of fun for all the family. The St Andrew’s Church Fete is protected from the weather by all of the stalls and the catering and most of the amusements being under cover. It is an ‘All Weather’ Fete so if it rains on Bank Holiday Monday don’t be put off!

Expect fun games and challenges within a nurturing, natural environment, in a practical session that ends with campfire cooking and storytelling.
Piddle Valley First School Piddletrenthide Dorchester
Design and create a wacky 3d structure using willow and masking tape, then turn it into a lantern, fish, bird, animal or fantasy beast of your choice. Cover the frame with tissue paper or weave with coloured strips of fabric and bring your creation to life, then take it home to hang in your bedroom.
Piddle Valley First School
Focusing on fun games, individual skill development and matches, the camps are suitable to all regardless of prior experience. All camps are open to children aged between 6 - 14 years and are delivered by experienced and highly qualified coaches.
