Pirate Half Term

“Hells Bells ‘n Buckets of Blood”. Pirates are coming this half term to the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Every day from Mon 13 to Fri 17 Feb there will be some fearsome family activities. Children encouraged to come in fancy dress. Learn how to draw a pirate map in ‘blood’ using a quill pen and make a variety of Pirate accessories including telescopes and eye patches. Cap’n Jack Sparrow lookalike and his scurvy shipmates will put on a stage show and sing-a-long and there’ll be lessons in learning how to live and speak like a pirate! To keep things in order the Royal Marines will be present with their climbing wall and although the week is intended to be a lot of fun for the whole family, there will be a serious side too with representatives from RN 815 Squadron giving talks on modern day piracy.
