Stretton Watermill
Heritage Open Day: Historic working watermill site dating back to 1351. The present building dates to 1630, with alterations of 1770 and 1819. A rare survival of a rural mill with original machinery in use. Free guided tours are available at regular intervals of the mill, where the evolution of the engineering is explained to visitors: visitors will see the waterwheels, sluices, hoist and sifter power the ancient machinery and grind wheat into flour.
