Open Garden at Your Place, 236 Wellington Street, Grimsby In Aid of St Andrews Childrens Hospice
’Your Place’ is a project of the Grimsby Neighbourhood Church which opened its doors to the people of the East Marsh in February 2001. Over the past 11 years with the support of local people and the help of a dedicated team of volunteers a derelict and vandalised piece of land has been turned into a beautiful sensory garden, children’s playground and horticultural facility. .. more

Featuring a whole range of fascinating insects including the mega mantis, giant prickly stick insects, blue bottle green tarantula, mombo assassin bugs, death feigning beetles, black beauty stick insects and much more. Throughout the holiday period 2nd to 10th June we will be running.. more

We are planning a varied range of activities this year, starting around 10.30am and finishing at 4pm. A host of children’s games will kindly be provided by East Riding College and Hornsea Children’s Centre. There will also be stalls from local food and craft producers. Ripon Farm Services are kindly organising a farm machinery display. We are planning tours of the farm to see the.. more
