Sandscale Haws National Nature Reserve - Evening Natterjack toad walks, 21 & 28 April 8-11pm
Experience this amazing and rare species at one of its last remaining UK strongholds. The male's calls can be heard up to a mile away on a still night. Mostly moderate but uneven terrain over dunes and grassland. Approx. 2-3 miles. Walk involves slopes and may involve crossing stiles. Walk back will be in the dark. Please wear warm and waterproof clothes, stout boots or wellies and bring a torch. Meet at Sandscale Haws Car Park. Booking Not Needed.
A National Trust Event - Start 20:00. End 23:00. Free Entry.
