Halton House, RAF Halton Officers' Mess
Heritage Open Day: A rare opportunity to visit Halotn House the weekend country house and gardens of Alfred de Rothschild. Built between 1880 and 1884 in the style of a French Château, for 30 years it provided the venue for Rothschild's weekend parties.
In 1918 the house was acquired by the Royal Air Force and for the past 99 years has served as the Officer's Mess for RAF Halton.
