Wray Castle - Snowdrop planting
Help us plant snowdrops to extend the carpet of spring bulbs around the grounds and find out more about these popular flowers. You can drop in any time between 11am and 3pm to plant little clumps of snowdrops to make a fresh carpet of these lovely pure white flowers in early spring 2019. You'll be able to discover more about snowdrops and become a 'galanthophile', the technical term for a snowdrop enthusiast. On your visit there'll also hopefully be many spring bulbs in flower around the grounds after 20,000 were planted in autumn 2017. Booking Not Needed.
A National Trust Event - Gates open 10:00. Start 11:00. End 15:00. Free Event but Normal Admission Charges Apply. Check website for latest information.
