This drop in event is to celebrate National Meadows Day, with scything demonstrations and talks to showcase meadows and their importance. Ash Landing is an important site, as within the small area there are a wide variety of habitats that visitors can experience: ponds, wetlands, hay meadows, hedges, coppice woodlands and scrub areas including scarce plants like touch-me-not balsam.
