Heather Redfern and Eileen Guppy - clarinet and keyboard
The Middlewich and District Concerts Society's is delighted to welcome the return of Heather Gordon-Redfern and Eileen Guppy. They came last year and made quite an impact. With these two ladies in concert we can expect some fireworks, of a musical kind of course! Both are seasoned professionals and able to perform on a range of instruments. However, for this concert Heather is playing the clarinet, with Eileen accompanying her on a keyboard.
Full details of their programme are yet to be revealed. However, apart from the sonata by York Bowen there will be music by Chopin, Gabriel Pierné and Béla Kovács. Pieces by Benny Goodman and Gershwin and arrangements by Eileen will inject a distinctly jazzy feel to the proceedings.
