Cartmel Gardens - Open Garden for NGS

A group of 3 diverse gardens in the lovely medieval village of Cartmel, all within easy reach of one another. Greencroft is a garden of parkland with various species of trees with herbaceous borders. Lawns divided by the River Ea with a backdrop to the stunning C12 Priory Church. At the rear of the house is the coach house courtyard showcasing urns and evergreen plants. Laburnum Cottage is a small, compact walled garden with views of the C12 Priory Church. The garden is in 3 parts; small front to the roadside, rear garden planted with a cottage style approach and a side garden with raised cutting flower beds and vegetables. Shrubs, clematis, perennials and a variety of pots with a collection of hostas.
