Holehird Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Run by volunteers of the Lakeland Horticultural Society to promote knowledge of gardening in Lakeland conditions. On fellside overlooking Windermere, the 10 acres provide year-round interest. 6 National Collections plus collections of hydrangeas and roses. Walled garden hosts colourful mixed borders and island beds. Rock garden, alpine beds and display houses. Streamside garden. Spring bulbs.
