Stafford Flower Club - A Flower Arranging Demonstration
SFC have pleasure in welcoming Lorraine Simcox to Rising Brook Methodist Church, who will be demonstrating her floral skills to the theme of “All Kinds of Everything”. Lorraine is a National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) Area Demonstrator and will be travelling from Baddiley Green – so comparatively local.
Lorraine is a keen allotment grower and brings many flowers and foliage that she has grown herself including fruit and vegetables which add a different feel for her arrangements. Not afraid of creating large or small arrangements, there will be something suitable for everyones’ house. The containers she uses are often from charity shops and have been adapted to how she wants them to look - a lady who has a definite imagination for the unusual. It will be interesting to hear the tales and stories she has to recall about her allotment along with useful tips and ideas for us all to enjoy.
All the flowers that Lorraine arranges will be offered as prizes for the raffle so, if you have bought some tickets and are lucky enough to have your number drawn out you may be going home with a beautiful arrangement to enjoy at home.
