Nevill Holt Festival: Jazz and Contemporary Music

On Friday June 21 at 6pm, The Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra will play their renowned club set, plus a second set with star vocalist Liane Carroll singing masterpieces from the Great American Songbook.

At 9pm, one of today’s most popular classical musicians, pianist, composer and producer Alexis Ffrench plays some of his most well-known pieces, as well as music from his upcoming studio album, released later this year.

On Saturday June 22, at 12pm, direct from London’s world-famous jazz club, The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars take to the stage with a whistle-stop tour of the club's history, featuring music from Benny Goodman to Ella Fitzgerald, George Benson to Nina Simone, in a riotous celebration of the heyday of jazz.

At 3:30pm, Jessica Walker and Joseph Atkins perform Barbara: The Black Eagle exploring the extraordinary life and work of one of the greatest singer-songwriters of the Twentieth century.

At 4:30pm, hot on the heels of his 2024 release, Welcome Home, Kid! Jordan Mackampa brings his unique blend of R&B, soul and funk to Nevill Holt Festival.

At 8:30pm, Jalen Ngonda, one of the most captivating performers on today’s soul scene, performs including excerpts from his brand-new album, Come Around and Love Me.
