Heritage Open Day: English Heritage Open Day Sunday 8th September 11am - 3pm to showcase the history and heritage of Ellington Park, Ramsgate, Kent. Ellington Park history and heritage day featuring information boards and talks about the park which celebrated its 130th anniversary as a public park last year. For this year's event we will be introducing The Elli Park Players who have created a costumed walk featuring historical characters attached to the park (and original estate land), since roman times to the present day. The characters will be in costume to meet and chat to during the day. There is a local choir singing on the recently restored Victorian bandstand.
