Diverse Habitats Self Guided Trail - Sheffield General Cemetery

Heritage Open Day: Learn about the cemetery's diverse habitats and the species that make the cemetery their home. The cemetery is connected to many parts of the globe by its plants and animals. The plant hunters of the Victorian era transformed our parks and gardens and this self guided trail will introduce you to some of them. The cemetery's birds and animals also come from many parts of the globe. Learn more about the birds that regularly visit the cemetery in summer and winter, and the unexpected visitors that have occasionally been seen on site.

Trail maps can be picked up from the Gatehouse at any time from 7th - 15th September for you to explore the trail in your own time.
