FREE taster session with the West Sheffield Rock Choir

If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me' then the answer is firmly yes!

The Sheffield Rock Choir is led by South Yorkshire based musician and teacher Ainjiel-Shaolee Clark. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it's a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Ainjiel-Shaolee. Rock Choir members have performed and sung across the country at venues including the O2 Arena, Guilfest and many more iconic landmarks. The choir also has a charitable function in raising money and awareness for Missing People and Refuge.

Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at Wembley Arena (which we did! - for the ITV1 documentary 'The Choir that Rocks'), there's a place for you in the Sheffield Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the Sheffield choir members recommend their friends!

Here is a quote about our choir - 'Why I love Rock Choir: I've had lupus for over 16 years. I get to forget that once a week and I feel like I've achieved something in life now, as I've had to give everything else up because of it.' - Sheryl (Rock Choir member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
