FREE taster session with the York Rock Choir
If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes!
The York Rock Choir is led by local singing teacher Kate Peters. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it's a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Kate. Rock Choir members have performed and sung across the country at venues including Wembley Stadium for the record breaking Saracens versus Harlequins rugby league game in 2012, Eurodisney and many more iconic landmarks. The choir also has a charitable function in raising money and awareness for Missing People and Refuge.
We sing in York every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
