Cottingham Civic Hall

Heritage Open Day: Formerly an office of Haltemprice Urban District Council and now run by Cottingham Village Trust The Civic Hall was built and opened by Haltemprice Urban District Council in 1965. The arms of the Council are above the stage in the main hall. Since 1996, it has been the property of the East Riding Council, but is now run by a charity, the Cottingham Village Trust, with volunteers from the community. It has two halls, one large and one smaller, a bar and meeting rooms. The bar has recently been upgraded with extra space for seating.

It is a popular venue for meetings, performances, events and private functions, and is on the national circuit for gigs.
