FREE taster session with the York Rock Choir
If you are wanting to find a choir you'll like singing with us in the Rock Choir.
Your friendly local York choir is run by vocal coach Kate Peters. We have a great year lined up and we would like to invite you to join our choir and take part in the local York and wider North Yorkshire county community. We are the York rehearsal of the trailblazing Rock Choir. We often team up with the other local North Yorkshire choirs to perform in larger groups. These inspirational moments are unique to the Rock Choir experience. It's unbelievable and you can still join the choir.
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at Wembley Arena (which we did! - for the ITV1 documentary 'The Choir that Rocks'), there's a place for you in the York Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the York choir members recommend their friends!

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
