Swarthmoor Hall - Open Garden for NGS
Traditional English country garden surrounding a Grade II* C17 hall, the cradle of Quakerism where it began in 1652. Cottage style borders, woodland garden, quiet garden dedicated to peaceful contemplation, ornamental vegetable garden and wildflower meadow with fabulous crocus display in late February/March. Only 5 minutes from main road, but an oasis of peace and tranquillity.
