Exhibition: Abingdon at Work

Heritage Open Day: Take a look at a fascinating set of exhibits, all delving into the theme of Working Lives across the years in and around Abingdon. This exhibition is set in the Guildhall - one of Abingdon's most important historic buildings, some of it dating back to the time of the Abbey.

In the stunning Roysse Room you can find out about the working lives of the hundreds of people employed in brewing and printing across several centuries - and the civil engineering projects which gradually improved the lives of those who lived and worked in Abingdon.
