A day in the life of the Anglo-Saxons

Heritage Open Day: Step back in time and meet the Anglo-Saxons at Abingdon Museum! Abingdon Museum is happy to present 'Hwitmearum', the Oxfordshire branch of Regia Anglorum (Regia). The re-enactment group will provide a small encampment with craftspeople and visual displays. During this Anglo-Saxon living history event they will show food preparation, wood working or similar crafts, a scriptorium, games, music and a small armoury display.
