Graeme Hewitt’s High Society Jazz Band are an excellent jazz band specialising in Traditional and Dixieland Jazz. Every Tuesday evening come and join us for an evening of live toe-tapping jazz, have a dance if you wish and enjoy a drink or two at low Club prices!!

The Orangery Lawn at Shaw House will be transformed into a sculpture trail by the Friends of Open Studios, where you can discover artworks by acclaimed sculptors in this lovely historic setting.
The exhibition is under the umbrella of the annual West Berkshire and North Hampshire Open Studios Scheme.

Graffiti Child are Berkshire and the Thames Valley’s premier disco funk covers band. Playing some of the best classics and dance floor fillers from the 70s and 80s.They have a wide repertoire of songs and put on a great show and dress to impress!

‘Our Stories’ is an exhibition devoted to documentary photography, which is often used to chronicle events or environments both significant and relevant to history and historical events as well as everyday life.
Parkland garden accessed via adjacent retail nursery. Set around C18 house (not open), home to Queen Wilhelmina of Netherlands in WW2. Large lawn with ha-ha and woodland walks. Notable trees incl historic cedars and araucaria. March brings an abundance of daffodils and in May a 60 metre wall of wisteria.

This much loved 2 acre garden is full of fascinating colour combinations inspired by the artist owner, with many spectacular herbaceous borders filled with rare and unusual plants. Pots with half hardies, a wild garden with orchids surrounding a pond, banks of rhododendrons and a kitchen garden.
The event has something for all ages to enjoy, with activities ranging from vintage machinery and a dog show to ferret racing.
It will also feature a steel band and funfair and several craft stalls, including those selling jewellery, cards, clothes and homemade keepsakes.
