A blackly comic thriller in which a sixteen year old boy insinuates himself into the home of a fellow student from his literature class, and writes about it in essays for his teacher.
The boy is gifted and unusual and the teacher rediscovers his enthusiasm for his work, but the boy becomes dangerously involved with his classmate’s mother. As the line between fact and fiction becomes indistinct, a series of uncontrollable events is unleashed.
