Ivy House - Open Garden for NGS
Approx 2 acres of sloping fellside garden with meandering paths leading to a series of rooms: inc pond, fern garden, Acer terrace, shrubberies, herbaceous borders and grass and herb gardens. Copse with meadow leading down to beck. Trees, shrubs, ferns, grasses, bamboos, evergreens and perennials planted with emphasis on variety of texture and colour. Sadly unsuitable for wheelchairs.
