Birkin Church Heritage Day

Heritage Open Day: Open church all day, with family history groups present & displays. Refreshments served all day. The church will be open for anyone to come and look around this beautiful Norman church, built in 1179. There will be representatives from local family history groups for those researching family trees.
Food will be available all day

(We are also hoping to have people from a local Norman society on site in traditional dress, demonstrating how the Normans would have cooked and lived.
