Howden's Vintage Exhibition
Heritage Open Day: Howden's Vintage Exhibition will show you about the town's history and how it developed This exhibition will feature a vintage slide show illustrating some of the buildings in Howden in the 1960s and what they look like now. We will also be showing the town's original mural which used to be sited in a vacant site in Howden Market Place. Fortunately it was photographed and we have created a new version of it which shows Howden's history from the 9th century to the 20th century. Many other displays will feature buildings in Howden together with their history and booklets can be bought telling you more of the town's heritage.
