Arundel & Elgin Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
A friendly and informal garden square with mature and rare trees, plants and shrubs laid out according to the original Victorian design of 1862, one of the best preserved gardens of the Ladbroke estate. The central hedged garden area is an oasis of tranquillity with extensive and colourful herbaceous borders. The garden inc several topiary hedges, a rare mulberry tree, a pergola and benches from which the vistas can be enjoyed. All looked after by Gardener, Paul Walsh.
Sun 22 May (2-6). Admission £4, Children free. Home-made teas. Times:14:00 to 18:00. Open for charity.
